TUY Crafted Heritage Antiques & Handicrafts (TUY Crafts) is a distinctive enterprise dedicated to sourcing, preserving, and showcasing timeless treasures from across the world. We stand at the intersection of history, culture, and artistry, a place where every object carries a story, and that story is honoured.
Founded and owned by Doan Thi Nguyet Oanh (known as Cindy Doan), the business operates as both a retail and curatorial platform. We offer collectors, interior designers, cultural enthusiasts, and everyday buyers access to authentic antiques and handcrafted items from Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. Each piece is chosen not only for its aesthetic beauty but for its cultural significance and historical narrative.
To become a globally recognised hub for authentic antiques, home decor and handcrafted cultural artifacts, fostering appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and preserving cultural heritage for future generations.
We are committed to:
Sourcing genuine, high‑quality antiques and artisanal products from diverse cultures
Supporting local artisans and preserving traditional craft techniques
Educating customers about the cultural and historical value of each piece
Providing a trustworthy and enriching buying experience both online and offline

Doan Thi Nguyet Oanh’s journey into the world of antiques and handicrafts began with a personal passion for history and cultural exploration in Vietnam before she moved to Australia in 1998. Growing up surrounded by traditional art and heritage objects, she developed a keen eye for craftsmanship and detail. Her travels across different countries deepened her appreciation for the diversity of artistic expression.
Oanh recognised a gap in the market: while many platforms sold decorative items, few truly honoured the authenticity and stories behind them. Determined to bridge this gap, she founded TUY Crafted Heritage Antiques & Handicrafts.
Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: every object has a story, and preserving that story is just as important as preserving the object itself.
We curate a wide and diverse range of products across six categories:
Antique Furniture – Hand‑carved cabinets from Southeast Asia, Victorian tables, African ceremonial stools, Middle Eastern inlaid chests. Each piece is restored with care to maintain original character while ensuring functionality.
Traditional Textiles – Handwoven silk from Vietnam and Thailand, Indian block‑printed fabrics, African mud cloth and kente, Persian rugs. These showcase intricate techniques passed down through generations.
Decorative Artifacts – Ceramic pottery from East Asia, bronze sculptures from Africa, glasswork from the Middle East, hand‑painted tiles from Europe. Each item is both a decorative piece and a cultural artifact.
Jewelry and Personal Adornments – Tribal beadwork, silver and gemstone jewelry, vintage brooches, handcrafted bangles. These often carry symbolic meanings and reflect cultural identity.
Religious and Spiritual Items – Buddhist statues and ritual objects, Hindu idols, Christian antique crosses and icons, indigenous spiritual carvings. Handled with respect and authenticity.
Collectibles and Rare Finds – Vintage coins and currency, antique maps and manuscripts, rare figurines, historical memorabilia. Accompanied by detailed provenance information where available.
